STEALTH ANNOUNCES A REVOLUTION IN OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT TECHNOLOGY

Stealth Acoustics has made two significant additions to its unique Stealth Patio Theater (SPT) LED-based range of outdoor entertainment solutions with its new Transformer fold-away TV system and the Megalith 120” outdoor TV screen.

The new SPT Transformer is a revolutionary hidden outdoor theater system designed to fold away into its weatherized, fiberglass enclosure and fit discretely on a yacht or home deck. With all electronics housed within the unit, including built-in LCR speakers and subwoofers, the Transformer is a 120” LED screen that can be deployed as a fixed or a mobile solution. It remains completely hidden from view and protected from the elements when not in use. The screen rises silently on demand from its custom designed enclosure thanks to a smooth, automated lifting mechanism, whilst its sleek fiberglass finish ensures maximum flexibility when meeting customer design goals.

Another outdoor viewing option is the new SPT Megalith. This fixed, completely weatherproof, ultra-bright 120” LED screen provides a great alternative to lack luster projection-based systems. Its modular design ensures that it can be configured in multiple different shapes and sizes to suit outdoor installation requirements. The Megalith also has the flexibility to be paired with custom audio from Stealth’s range for a complete outdoor theater solution or it can simply be used for artwork display.

The SPT Transformer and SPT Megalith are part of an extensive range of outdoor entertainment options for integrators. Including 103”, 130”, 155” and 184” screen sizes. Supplied in either 1800 Nits or 5000 Nits of output for exceptional high brightness performance, all SPT options are available with built-in high-performance invisible Stealth speakers and subwoofers in 3.1 to Atmos audio configurations.

SPT enclosures are custom built for each order out of marine-grade Baltic plywood, which are then spar-varnished inside and out to create a “boat-like” quality of construction to safely protect the screen and high-strength lifts mounted inside. Exterior finish options are at the choice of the customer or designer and may consist of paint, faux finishes, custom graphics or select textures.

Stealth manufactures its own LED screens in a Washington State factory under the Dimensional Display Systems (DDS) brand and offers virtually any LED screen solution imaginable, including its competitively-priced, UL48 listed, Image Cell^tm modular indoor screen system, available in both P3 and P5 resolutions. Stealth also services its screens to the sub-component level at its factory, making it one of the rare US companies that does not have to send repairs overseas, speeding up return time of components to a matter of days.

STEALTH INTROS NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE STINGRAY OUTDOOR SPEAKER

Stealth Acoustics has extended its award-winning StingRay range of outdoor high-fidelity speakers, with the launch of a new 8” 3-way high performance model. Capable of withstanding the harshest environmental conditions, the new StingRay 83 is based on the advanced design of Stealth’s LRX-83 invisible speaker, so raising the bar significantly for outdoor audio quality in luxury residential, commercial and marine applications.

Producing a deep, warm and natural bass response down to 40Hz, with a smooth midrange and solid upper frequency, the StingRay 83 is balanced, powerful and the highest quality outdoor speaker ever created by Stealth. It features a 30mm midrange device, a 25mm tweeter and an 8” high-power cone woofer in combination with Stealth’s Fidelity Glass Advanced™ flat front radiating surface to give ultra-wide dispersion within a hermetically-sealed enclosure. The result is an attractive, sleek-looking speaker that delivers a smooth and silky sound quality in the mid and high regions with a solid, rich bass extension. Designed with outdoor theater audio in mind, and the impressive peak power handling of over 300 watt allows the device to become much more than simply a background music speaker.

The StingRay 83 is completely sealed off from the elements. It is constructed using high strength UV protected fiberglass and marine grade, fibre-infused ASA plastics, meaning the speaker is completely sealed against intrusion from any outside elements. It has an Ingress Protection rating of IP-68 per international CEI/IEC 60529 standards. No moisture, salt or sun will affect the unit, nor will it ever rust or discolour over time, making it ideal for exceptional audio performance in harsh, superyacht or outdoor environments.

Available in standard white or black to blend in discreetly with outdoor locations. Optionally, a custom graphic wrap finish can be applied to help it further blend into its environment or to make the StingRay 83 a stand-out feature. A popular option is to send Stealth a photograph of the mounting location or other artwork for factory design, print, and application of the wrap. Specific mounting solutions and accessory products to facilitate StingRay 83 installation into the boat construction or remodel process are provided.

The StingRay speaker family already includes both 6” and 8” 2-way woofer models and the StingRay 430 subwoofer speaker system.

Launched to the European custom installation market at Integrated Systems Europe 2016, the Stealth Patio Theater is a complete weatherised outdoor cinematic system. Fully protected from outdoor elements, the Patio Theater combines a large high resolution, high-brightness, LED screen with Stealth Acoustics’ award-winning outdoor speaker and amplifier technology. Via a silent lift automation, the screen rises from the custom designed enclosure.

Residential Systems Magazine has named Stealth Acoustics’ Stealth Patio Theater, a complete self-contained large-scale outdoor theatre entertainment system, as a CEDIA show “Best of Show Award” winner for 2015.
