A Total Systems Approach to Speaker Invisibility
Stealth’s unique “systems” approach to invisibility gives you the power to obtain the best sound possible from our invisible speaker solutions. Our award-winning speakers do not require the use any special processing equipment like filters or compensation circuits. They perform excellently with all the normal system “head-end” equipment you would use like typical amplifiers, receivers and processors. Yet, an even higher level of invisible system performance and flexibility can be achieved using Stealth Acoustics amplifiers to power our LineaResponse® invisible speakers and subwoofers in a systems approach. Model 8400 and 255R amplifiers are designed to work in concert with our full-range speakers and subwoofers to provide the optimum power and signal processing to bring laboratory-grade invisible sound to your project. Only Stealth Acoustics gives you the flexibility to use an invisible speaker just like you would a visible speaker and to optimize the speaker for maximized performance and sound quality.
When you connect a Stealth Acoustics invisible speaker to a Model 8400 multi-channel amplifier, you gain access to Stealth’s powerful DSP-based internal equalizer algorithms. These “Optimization” curves use pre-determined signal processing to bring out the best of each Stealth LinearResponse series speaker. Want an LR3 to sound just like we can make it sound in the lab using all of our expensive processing gear? Then simply assign LR3 optimization to the 8400 amplifier channel feeding the speaker. You can do this with LR6’s and LR8’s as all the processing power is already built into the 8400 amplifier to easily turn our award-winning invisible speakers into an unbelievable sounding speaker system.
Using Stealth’s 8400 amplifiers with our speakers also gives you flexibility in assigning the right amount of power for the desired output by easily bridging amplifier channels. This power flexibility coupled with the 8400 subwoofer filters and delays allows you to create a system of totally invisible speakers and subwoofers powered from the same amplifier chassis.
A system isn’t worth much if you can’t control it, so we include remote control - for free. Add a simple inexpensive IR repeater in front of a Stealth 8400 amplifier and you have complete control of volumes, mutes, EQ’s, channel assignments, delays, etc. as every function that you can do from the front panel controls of the 8400 amplifier can also be done using the handheld remote control. For even more systems flexibility you can blend an 8400 driven Stealth system into any third-party control system for maximum ease of use and simplicity.
